Important information from Canada Post this holiday season

Dec 4, 2017 | Peace News

The holidays are a busier than usual time for Canada Post, who have asked us to share the following with our clients about service guarantee claims for late deliveries:

“From November 20, 2017 to January 5, 2018, Canada Post will only honour service guarantee claims for late delivery if an item is delivered two or more business days after the delivery standard. This adjustment will apply to Expedited Parcel, Xpresspost, and Priority services. We remain committed to making every effort to maintain our published service standards for all of our Parcels services, including during the busy holiday season. To prepare, we boost our operational readiness through increased transportation capacity, seasonal workers, delivery on weekends, and extended customer service support. However, this time of year poses some delivery challenges. We are committed to working closely with you through proactive communication and visibility to help manage your customers’ delivery expectations during the industry’s busiest time of year.”
